From January to September 2025, Benha University's Unified Government Complaints System received 4,705 complaints, requests, and appeals (3,870 individual complaints and 835 university-related complaints). 97.93% of these were reviewed and processed according to complaint investigation protocols before being forwarded to relevant authorities for resolution.
Prof. El-Gizawy praised the efforts of the university's Citizen Service Department and the teams managing the complaints system across faculties, hospitals, administrative units, and university cities. He issued strict instructions to ensure all university-affiliated entities respond promptly to citizen complaints, requests, and appeals across all platforms, including social media and traditional media. These efforts have garnered positive feedback, with many citizens publicly thanking the University for its Responsiveness.
The report noted that the increased volume of complaints in 2025 compared to previous years reflects both the system's adaptability to evolving challenges and growing public trust in its effectiveness. A new communication hub was also activated to directly channel citizen complaints to the University for Faster Resolution.
