Vision: The Department of Foundations of Education aspires to:

• Be at the forefront of specialized educational departments in Egyptian universities.
• Prepare educational cadres capable of contributing to the field of educational foundations.
• Develop scientific research (with an applied nature) in the field of educational foundations.
• Provide scientific and educational consultations to various educational institutions.

Mission: The Department of Foundations of Education aims to achieve a noble educational mission that includes:

• Preparing educational cadres capable of contributing to the development of the educational process, scientific research, and community service.
• Developing critical and creative thinking skills among students and teachers.
• Enhancing the values of citizenship and national belonging among students and teachers.
• Effectively contributing to solving educational and instructional problems through scientific research.
