BU runs the Electronic Exams Center

The Electronic Exams Center, Benha University has conducted the first experimental electronic test for the students at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
In this regard, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, the Center Director said that all necessary preparations and equipment have been completed, including the connection of the communications network and the Internet.
It is worth mentioning that the Electronic Exams Center has 700 computers on 12 computer labs to conduct electronic exams for 700 students in same time and all laboratories are equipped with CCTV.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the Researcher/ Samar Mahmoud, the Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine has got the doctoral thesis about " Stem cell transplant" throughout a joint supervision scholarship obtained to the Researcher within the Newton-Mosharafa program, where the Researcher completed her studies at Manchester University Hospitals for Children in England.
It is worth mentioning that the supervision committee from the Egyptian side: Dr. Mohamed El-Bakry, the professor of pediatrics at BU and former head of the department, Dr. Sameh Zaki, the lecturer of pediatrics at BU, and from the British side: Dr. Robert Wayne, professor of pediatric hematology at the University of Manchester in England.

Research Cooperation between BU and the University of Bristol

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that a group of scientists from the University of Bristol and Benha University used salt water to cool the photovoltaic units with the aim of developing a system for cooling solar cells by using materials saturated with sea water adding that this development came after a series of scientific papers published by same research team using pure water.
It is worth mentioning that the two Universities signed last July a memorandum of understanding within the framework of joint cooperation between them in the academic and research fields.
