The International Relations Office at Benha Unievrsity is pleased to announce the opening of a call for applications for an Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA) scholarship in collaboration with Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC), Romania.
This exciting opportunity is part of the ongoing Erasmus+ KA171 financial projects and aims to strengthen international cooperation, enhance teaching skills, and promote knowledge exchange between partner universities.
Mobility Details
• Destination University: Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC), Romania
• Mobility Period: Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year
• Duration: 5 consecutive working days
Eligibility Criteria
• Applicants must be teaching staff whose field of Education, History, Literature, Law, Physical science, Biological and environmental science and international office.
• A minimum English language proficiency of B2 (Language certificate is required) is required if the applicant's mother tongue is not English.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the electronic application portal for new students to apply for the University dormitories for the 2025/2026 academic year will remain open until September 15th. This applies to the University dormitories in Shubra, Moshtohor, Toukh, and Benha, as well as the hotel-style accommodation (Benha University Dormitory for male and female students).
El-Gizawy emphasized that the University Dormitories Sector is committed to ensuring student comfort by providing high-quality, distinguished services to resident students. This includes comprehensive support in nutrition, housing, medical care, and psychological and social support.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sayed Abd El-Wanis, the General Supervisor of University Dormitories, stated that acceptance will be based on approved regulations. The key eligibility criteria for dormitory admission include:
- The student must be a regular undergraduate (Bachelor's or Licence) student enrolled in one of Benha University's faculties.
- The student (male or female) must not be married.
For new students, selection prioritization is based on distance from the University (over 50 km minimum for standard dorms) and, if distances are equal, on higher high school scores and younger age.
Other conditions include being free of infectious diseases, having no previous disciplinary penalties, and complying with financial obligations.
