Benha University - Benha-Wuhan Postgraduate College

Message from Prof. Chang Bingwen, President of Wuhan University Dear students, good morning,

I am Chang Bingwen, President of Wuhan University, China. On the occasion of the official opening of the Benha-Wuhan postgraduate College, which has been jointly established by Wuhan University and Benha University, I am pleased to introduce this college to you and warmly welcome you to continue your studies here.

Wuhan University was founded in 1893 and is one of the most prestigious and distinguished higher education institutions in China, renowned for its global reputation in academic excellence. Wuhan University and Benha University share a long-standing partnership and a solid spirit of collaboration, along with a steadfast commitment to scientific excellence. The joint effort to establish Benha-Wuhan Graduate College (BWCP) represents an important step aimed at preparing highly skilled professionals capable of actively engaging in the global arena.

In its initial phase, the college will focus on key areas including: • Information Engineering in Geospatial and Remote Sensing, • International Business Management, • Nursing. It will offer four master's programs with a dual degree system and two doctoral programs with a dual degree system.

Here, you will benefit from the academic capabilities of two prestigious universities from China and Egypt, embarking on a rich and fruitful educational journey. You will have the opportunity to study distinguished curricula from both universities and participate in research projects under the joint supervision of faculty members from both sides.

Moreover, you will have the chance for practical training in Chinese companies, gaining hands-on experience and discovering the charm of unique Chinese culture. This is a promising beginning, and in the next phase, we will gradually expand the dual degree education model to include broader specialties and fields, providing you with more options to achieve your interests and ambitions.

The pace of technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating, and the world is becoming more interconnected than ever before in depth and breadth. The leaders of the future will be those capable of understanding diverse cultures and addressing complex challenges.

We look forward to welcoming curious and adventurous young minds to join us. As President of Wuhan University, I extend a sincere invitation to all young talents who are contemplating their future and seeking to push their boundaries.

We welcome you to apply to Benha-Wuhan postgraduate College (BWCP), hoping that you will write a distinguished chapter of your academic story on this fertile ground for innovation and growth

Under the patronage of Dr. Nasser El‑Gizawy, President of Benha University; Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Mohamed El‑Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; and Dr. Nermeen Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, the activities of the “Safe Community Without Addiction” initiative were launched at the Faculties of Physical Therapy and Sports Sciences to raise students’ awareness about addiction.

The activities were organized in coordination with Dr. Sherine El‑Kholy, Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine, and Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General for Community Service and Environmental Development.
