Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational affairs and students inspects the 1st semester exams in the faculty of physical therapy conducted in the E-exams center and several centers, such as the medical simulation and skills center, the talented center, and the educational studio to make sure that everything is up and running. He was accompanied by prof.Dr. Walid Talaat, the acting dean of the faculty, prof.Dr. Mohamed Abdel EL-Fattah, E-exams center head, prof.Dr. Ashraf EL-Mashad, the medical simulation and skills center head, and prof.Dr. Shimaa Salah, the supervisor of the educational studio. 

 Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, BU president chairs the 1st executive meeting of digital transformation and smart governance. The meeting occurs in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational affairs and students, the deans of the faculties of engineering/ Shubra, engineering/ Benha, computer and artificial intelligence, the University secretary-general, the MIS head, quality assurance and accreditation center head, digital network head, E-Learning center head, IT training center head, E-exams center head, the University assistant secretary-general of financial affairs, the University secretariat head, and the E-portal head. The meeting discusses the general policy of the university’s digital transformation activities, the development of a full-fledged strategy of digital transformation and its role in the sustainable development.

This visit comes in accordance with the initial procedures to accredit the Veterinary diagnosis lab by EGAC as per the international standards. This visit occurs in the presence of prof.Dr. Hossam Attia, the faculty vice dean of educational affairs and students, prof.Dr. Ayman Samir, the faculty vice dean of post-graduate studies and research, prof.Dr. Ashraf Awwad, the faculty vice dean of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Abdel Fattah Monged, the head of the Veterinary diagnosis lab and the lab members.

Mahmoud Tawfik, the minister of interior, Major General. Abd EL-Hamid EL-Hagan, Qulubia governor and the police figures in the governorate.

During the tour, he pays a visit to the departments of students’ affairs, youth care, and medical administration to make sure that everything is up and running for the beginning of the first semester exams. 

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president announces that Benha University is one of the best ten Universities in Egypt as per the ARU Ranking. This is the result of the uniting efforts of the Arab universities union, the Arab league, the Alecso and the scientific research councils union. It’s noteworthy that Benha University is in ninth place among 28 Egyptian Universities and it is in 20th place among 115 Arab Universities. EL-Gizaway asserts that this ranking depends on four pillars as follows: the indicator of education and learning, the indicator of innovation, entrepreneurship and development, the indicator of scientific research and the indicator of local and international cooperation. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University president announces that information technology institute of the ministry of communication and information technology will participate to organize the proceedings of the evolving technologies Hackathon”. This event is conducted to enable the disabled ones and it will be held in February 2024. This event comes in accordance with the deep faith of the ministry of higher education role to support the digital transformation, achieve Egypt’s vision 2030 to get turned into a knowledge-based digital economy and encourage the innovation, research and progress. This is done by helping the youth to put their smart ideas and programming projects into action. EL-Gizaway invites all the students in the Egyptian Universities and institutes to participate in the Hackathon. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president and the secretary-general of the supreme council of the Universities initiates the proceedings of the supreme committee of trainers’ accreditation and licenses extraction for the training centers in the presence of prof.Dr. Ashour Ahmed Amry, the head of the national training center so as to discuss some related topics with regard to setting the criteria of trainers’ accreditation. EL-Gizaway asserts that this committee aims to select distinguished faculties’ members to run the training process effectively and achieve the national strategy of the ministry of higher education. It’s noteworthy that this committee includes a number of Egyptian Universities’ vice presidents and the experts in this field. 

Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the university president attends the students’ ceremony of the 1st German language in the faculty of education in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs, prof.Dr. Magdy EL-Shahat, the dean of the faculty of education, the faculty’s vice deans, several faculty members and the students of German language department. EL-Gizaway asserts that the department seeks to prepare a sufficient and capable teacher of German language who can meet the demands of the marketplace, contribute to the community progress and get in touch with the other cultures. During the ceremony, the students sing songs, recite poetry, and act shots of both the Egyptian and the German cultures.
