In the frame of developing the technological services provided by Benha University for students and faculty members, the committee formed by the University Presidents has met to discuss the possibility of hosting the University website on Azure with cooperation of Microsoft.

In the frame of keeping up with rapid technological development in information and communication technology and the continuous support of the University President, the first electronic meeting with Microsoft has been held by Skype for Business System with participation of four parties from different places. 

The events of the 8th Scientific Conference of Cardiology in Brazil have been ended on Saturday, 15/08/2015 in the presence of several senior professors of cardiology from Canada, the United States, European countries and India.
It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs has represented the University and Egypt in that Conference. 

The Department of Libraries and Information at Benha University will hold the 1st Scientific Conference for Libraries and Information under the title of “the Challenges of the University Libraries in the 3rd Millennium” in the duration from 24/11/2015 to 25/11/2015 at the Great Conferences Hall under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Osama Hamed, the Head of the Department. 

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; the University will hold a seminar about QS World University Rankings in Thursday, 20/08/2015. 
It is worth mentioning that the seminar will be delivered by Mr. Ashwin Fernandes, the Manager of Public Relations at Quacquarelli Symonds in Asia. 

The Ministry of Planning announces the launching of the governmental Creativity Contest 2015 which aimed to stimulate the employees for innovation and dealing with the administrative obstacles and problems. It is worth mentioning that the Ministry offers financial awards for twenty winner teams.

In the frame of the openness to the world and improving the University ranking, the University hosts Mr. Ashwin Fernandes, the Representative of Quacquarelli Symonds to discuss the cooperation ways to put the strategic and implementing plans under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs ; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

A Plan to develop the University E-portal

In the frame of keeping up with rapid technological development in information and communication technology and the continuous support of the University President, a plan has been drawn to develop the University E-portal. Such plan includes hosting the University website on Azure “Cloud computing” with cooperation of the largest companies working in this field. 

In the frame of cooperation between Benha University and the Pharmacist Syndicate in Qalyoubia; Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development have met Dr. Magdt Thabet, the Syndicate President and Dr. Bakry Saied, the Syndicate Vice-president and Media Spokesman to discuss the cooperation ways and improving the health services. 

 

The door is opened to apply for Newton/Moshraffa Fund 2015 which presented by the British Council with cooperation of Science and Technology Fund. The Fund brings together the British and Egyptian scientific research and innovation sectors to find joint solutions to the challenges facing Egypt in economic development and social welfare.
