Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President of Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the "Leadership and Influence" training course, organized by the University’s Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) for faculty members.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Dr. Naglaa Fekry, Executive Director of the FLDC, alongside participating faculty members from across the university.

During the event, Dr. Taha Ashour delivered a lecture addressing the concept and dynamics of leadership and influence. He emphasized that leadership is no longer tied to official titles or formal positions, but is rather defined by behavior, initiative, and responsibility. He noted that a true leader possesses the vision to transform challenges into opportunities and the courage to make decisions that serve the public interest.

Dr. Ashour added that influence forms the true essence of leadership, as leadership is measured not by authority over others, but by the positive impact left on individuals and communities. He stressed that influence means inspiring colleagues, supporting those around them to unlock their full potential, and playing an active role in advancing the academic and social environment.

For her part, Dr. Naglaa Fekry stated that the 3-day training course hosts around 20 faculty member trainees. The program aims to equip participants with key knowledge and practical skills related to university administration and leadership.
