Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizawy, the university president issues new decrees to appoint new department heads and vice deans in Benha University.  The decrees include the following: appointing prof.Dr. Essam Hosni Mohamed Abdel Halim, the professor in the faculty of law as the faculty’s vice dean for post-graduate studies and scientific research, prof.Dr. Noha Soliman Abdel Hafiz, the assistant professor in the faculty of physical therapy as the faculty’s vice dean of environment development and community service, prof.Dr. Omima Mahmoud Mohamed Hasan, the professor in the faculty of medicine as the as the head of community medicine department, prof.Dr. Fatma Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the professor in the faculty of medicine as the head of teaching methodologies department, prof.Dr. Hamdy Mohamed Ali Mahmoud, the professor in the faculty of physical education as the head of the field competitions theories and applications department, prof.Dr. Al-Ansari Hasan Mohamed, the professor in the faculty of law as the acting head of the code of procedures department, prof.Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed EL-Bogdaday, the professor in the faculty of law as the acting head of law philosophy and history department and prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Ghany Farid, the assistant professor in the criminal law department as the acting department head.

Benha University conducts its council under the auspices of prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the University president and in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of students and educational affairs, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of environment development and community service, the faculties’ deans, Ms. Shreen Shawky, the university secretary-general, the university council members and the assistant secretary-generals. The university president starts his speech by heartily thanking his Excellency Mr. President/ Abdel Fattah EL-Sisi, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of higher education and scientific research for entrusting him as Benha University President. He also thanks the university’s employees for their exerted efforts during the academic year and asks for more population growth awareness forums

The University council honors Dr. Mosbeh EL-Kheliy; the youth care department head in appreciation of his exerted efforts in performing his job duties. This goes in accordance with the sidelines of the University council in the presence of prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of students and educational affairs, prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of environment development and community service, the faculties’ deans, Ms. Shreen Shawky, the university secretary-general, the university council members and the assistant secretary-generals.

In accordance with the national strategy of anti-corruption 2023-2023, the administrative control authority hold, in the premise of National Anti-Corruption Academy, a 3-day training course of anti-corruption and governance from 13-8-2023 to 15-8-2023. Prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the acting Benha University president, stresses that corruption is the biggest obstacle of progress and the main block to development across the world, so it is advisable to raise the awareness against because it is the plague that should get rid of and the disease that should avoid its negative impacts.  His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic has issued a presidential decree for appointing Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the Vice President of Post-graduate Studies and Scientific Research as the new president of Benha University, with our best wishes for him at his new position.

Benha University holds The 2nd Annual Conference of Postgraduate Studies for Humanities Science in the period from 18-19102023. The Conference is going to be held under auspices of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, The acting president of BU, Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of educational and students affairs, Dr.Khalid Esawy, The University Public Activities Coordinator and MR. Ibrahim Abd Allah, the General Director of Youth Welfare. Prof.Dr. Nasser el-Gizaway, the acting University president stresses that the leadership development center contributes to get more cadres prepared to be the leaders in the future. This statement concurs with the final ceremony of handing out the certificates of the third batch of the leadership development program in the presence of prof.Dr .Amani Abbas, the dean of the veterinary medicine, prof.Dr. Mohamed Abu Salem, the general supervisor of the leadership development center, prof.Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general supervisor of the leadership development center and Benha university students.

Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, The acting president of BU received Khairat Lama Sharif, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo and the accompanying delegation to discuss ways of joint cooperation at the academic and research level between the Benha University and Kazakh Universities.
The meeting was held in presence of the First Secretary of the Embassy, Talaat Elias and others to discuss ways of strengthening agreements to develop bilateral cooperation between Benha University and Kazakh Universities. They also discussed the cultural activities that are going to be held by the Kazakh embassy on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the birth of Sultan al-Zahir Baybars.For his part, The Ambassador Khairat Lama Sharif praised the relations between Egypt and Kazakhstan in the cultural, political and economic fields.

The meeting was held on the sideline of discussing a master thesis for a researcher at faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Benha University and in presence of Dr.Mohamed Abd El Fattah, the Faculty deputy of Students Affairs at the Faculty. For his part, El Gizawy confirmed on activating cooperation between both Universities at all fields and he expressed his happiness for that fruitful meeting.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University congratulated Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research after granting him The Honorary Doctorate from East London University as appreciation for his scientific history, wishing for him continued progress and success in serving Egypt.
